Hi – I’m Caz; a professional people watcher with an urge to tell stories. I’m based in Herefordshire, in the beautiful Wye Valley where I’ve lived since I was tiny. On leaving secondary school I went on to study for four years at Hereford College of Art & Design where I gained qualifications in Art, English and Design and a BTEC diploma in Photography.
I first became self employed in the early nineties and after a short spell on the Enterprise Allowance Scheme with my own photographic studio and darkroom upped sticks and went on my travels as a cruise ship photographer.
Up until 2010 I didn’t always earn my main income from photography and it was often only the ‘side hustle’ but now I’m lucky enough to have it as my full time job.
It’s been great having the flexibility of being self employed as a single Mum as it’s allowed me to also spend quality time with my son. It makes the late nights worth it when you’re able to do something you love and are passionate about.
My main work revolves around weddings, portraiture and commercial photography but I do also produce some fine art imagery which you can find here in my online shop.
When I’m not on a shoot or busy editing you’ll find me happy in the kitchen or the garden, walking in the woods, litter picking or giving Mr Zigs some fuss.
If you’d like to check availability or discuss a project then please do get in touch – I’m more than happy to have a chat on the phone or a completely without obligation meeting via zoom or in person.
